2012 Best Year for U.S Car Makers in 5 Years



Automakers reported that 2012 was the best year in sales since 2008. It was also the highest jump in sales in almost 30 years.

All car makers participating in the U.S including GM, Ford, Toyota, Honda and Chrysler reported higher sales than the previous year. Honda reported an improvement as high as 26% while Ford took only a very small improvement of only 2%. ( visit:  car repair new york city )

The industry as a  whole reported total unit sales of $15 million a rise of 1.7M units compare to 2011.

A strong demand can be felt and according to economist, it is be driven by better conditions in the job market and stronger financial opportunities for buyers.

Analysts also pointed to younger people who recently were forced to move back to their parents are now exploring option to buy a new car.
